The Life Vest Premium 300N is designed for all levels of sailing, combining an offshore rated life vest with a premium sailing harness with a D-ring and leg strap. This life vest exceeds the Yachting Australia requirements for offshore and night racing in Australia, it comes fitted with ISO accredited spray hood.
The Life Vest Premium offers over 300 Newtons of buoyancy and is recommended for weights over 120kg. In sailing this is common due to heavy wet weather clothing or safety equipment. It has a back mesh panel with a removable fleece collar for comfort, it fits over your clothing and wet weather equipment to secure with a waist belt and leg strap. It is an easy to wear deck harness with D-ring that provides a point to be tethered too.
The valve can be changed at any time from automatic to manual inflation by removing the water activated cartridge. Water activation requires an upward flow of water to the valve that is folded within the chamber – it will not activate with rain or spray. The hard wearing outer cover is sealed with a velcro closure that opens on activation to reveal a yellow chamber with high visibility reflective markings. There is an oral inflation tube for inflation/deflation and a signal whistle for attracting attention.
The vest can be customised to provide an internal fitting for any PLB device, it can also be badged with personal embroidery of a name or logo.
